It's the 10th year of J. Cole's classic album "2014 Forest Hills Drive" and he gave us 8 new songs to vibe to..

Album Review | Hip-Hop | Rap

rating:8.3/10 (Great)

Best song:"Black Man In Hollywood"

J. Cole had a interesting year with being involved in the whole Drake vs Kendrick Lamar beef but Cole still managed to take us down memory lane. The new 8 songs are reportedly songs that didn't make the cut back then but I'm pretty sure we are all glad the songs are out regardless. The sound definitely takes you back to how Cole was moving 10 years ago and like i said it actually takes you down memory lane.

These 8 songs even paints a story on how much Cole love to write and rap, My favorite song from the drop was that "Black Man In Hollywood", The aggressive approach on the record and the beat kind of gave me the feel Cole was channeling his inner Tupac. The production was on point and I can hear some of these songs being on the original album but all in all, classic project.

J. Cole via X (12/8/24): “FHD 10 year anniversary edition with 8 unreleased songs. Forest Hills Drive was a double album at one point in time during the finishing process,” he wrote to X. “This anniversary edition contains 8 of the songs that were included in that version. Available digitally tomorrow. 12pm eastern http://inevitable.live Thank you for the love. See you at the Garden.”
